Exactly. That series used fictional extraterrestrials on Earth to be stand-ins for all the prejudice that humans show each other. Even black people could be 'racist' towards the "Newcomers".
I liked the series, but it was too techie for the general public, and took itself way too seriously. I intend to watch this show, from what I've seen, the writing looks similar to the writing used on the Geico ads. Some people hate the Geico ads, but I think they make fun of yuppie metrosexuals.
