This was a pleasant surprise in my local paper this morning. This newspaper, The Washington Observer-Reporter, circulates through home delivery and box and counter sales in a large segment of Murtha's congressional district.

Murtha local letter to the editor ping! This may be encouraging to the Murtha Watch, pingees, guys. The locals are waking up, and the local paper is having a harder time suppressing the truth.

Sense of Decency?
Hell, I’d be happy to find some indication he has a sense of ‘reality’.

There is a reason Murtha’s handlers kept him away during the most recent election cycle.

I do not care that he is a congressman. He wrongfully and intentionally accused a person of murder. That in my book is actionable defamation and he should be sued.

Have you [Murtha] no sense of decency? Decency? Surely you jest.
John Murtha proves conclusively that there really is such thing as an ex-Marine.

Murtha ranks with the lowest category of political prostitutes. When he was snared by the FBI in the ABSCAM sting he testified against two colleagues in a deal to avoid prosecution. Labeled for years as a “hawk” by the news media, Murtha turned against the military in a shameless, utterly disgusting public display to try and gain the House speakership. As for his “war hero” status, here’s a link:

Murtha needs to be dumped with the rest of the garbage in 2008.

Great letter to the editor regarding the despicable murtha in his district. Kudos to the Washington Observer-Reporter for printing it.

Murtha is at this moment presiding over the House of Rep. If you want a good laugh, take a look at C-SPAN and watch the blithering idiot in all his glory.
