How are the potheads going to treat their THC addiction without those clinics?

"How are the potheads going to treat their THC addiction without those clinics?""I only smoke pot for medical reasons."
"What medical reason?"
"THC addiction."
I like that.

Oh, I feel so much safer already. Thank you DEA for protecting me from the sick grannies and burned out hippies. I wouldn't want you guys to have to take the risk of arresting any bikers cooking hundreds of pounds of crystal meth, after all they might be armed.

"Instead of using resources to go after drug dealers ruining neighborhoods and poisoning school kids, they're going after individuals dying of cancer and suffering from AIDS who need cannabis to have any type of appetite," Zine said.""The clinics are largely unregulated, which Zine and others said invites illegal pot use and sales."
Hey, Zine! The solution is in front of your nose.

"Thank you DEA for protecting me from the sick grannies and burned out hippies""Those arrested Wednesday included clinic owners and managers, though no patients ..."
The grannies and hippies are safe and sound, ccmay, free to smoke dope yet another day.

Without the war on drugs, especially weed, how would law enforcement bureaucracy be able to continue to proliferate? Where would LE get the money for cool new toys if not through seizures? How would the courts and legal system cope with a significant decrease in caseloads?
When is the last time anyone heard of layoffs within the judicial system?
Your sarcasm is noted. :-)

Meanwhile, Al Qaeda cells continue to plot their next attack as LE resources are diverted to this much more important national security issue.
And the Drug Warrior boot-lickers on FR cheer it on.
Pathetic.

Where would LE get the money for cool new toys if not through seizures? By going to Congress and telling sob stories about how horrible things have happened and even worse things are going to happen because they are so underfunded?

LOL. Actions such as this are pure window dressing. To the folks inclined to partake, this is but a minor inconvenience. The clinics might be shut down, but the purveyors who supply the clinic are not.
Net effect of the raid = zilch, nada, zippo. But you like spending your hard earned money (your taxes) on futile gestures, apparently.

Now, now, our jackbooted thugs can't be expected to do anything where they might actually face danger or get hurt, can they?

The real point here is that this does not rise to the level of sending federal agents armed and with the power to take the life of its own citizens. Twelve million illegals, and they’re worried about a pot den. OMG, someone might be high.
Be careful of your wishes on issues like this or you may have Madame Hillary and a liberal congress deciding these things for you.

First they came for the gun owners, but I did not own a gun...then they came for the “potheads” but I did not smoke pot...then they came for the Catholics, but I was not Catholic...then they came for the Freepers and I got mad.
