WASHINGTON Former Sen. Fred Thompson, a Republican presidential candidate in waiting, candidly answered a question at a campaign stop in Texas yesterday regarding his membership in the Council on Foreign Relations, sometimes referred to as a "shadow government" organization of elites with a global agenda.
In an exchange caught on YouTube that later deteriorated into a police encounter, an activist asked Thompson about his membership in the group, linking it with plans for a "North American Union."

I believe you sound jist lack a ignorant damn yankee.
Ok.
How funny. The above title states the above, yet the excerpt does not even mention his response, forcing one to dig into the link for info. Me? I personally think the CFR does not have America's best interest in mind. Of course there will be those that will attempt to convince all that the CFR is just a debate society for grownups, much like the Hardball TV show, and will try to convince all the CFR has no position on the issues, and they have absolutely no influence on government policy. And they will tell you if you believe otherwise, you are a conspiracy nut.
LOL!
I’m not sure but I think Hunter is a member and so is Tancredo.
Yes when Rudy or Fred has people arrested for merely asking a question, that raises suspicions of even people who don’t ascribe to conspiracy theories, plus I just don’t like it.
I just saw a series of videos that proved to me Rudy is no conservative, check here - it’s Rudy in his own words.
Anyway, Hunter and Tancredo have no campaigns or support to speak of here in NH, they are going nowhere, while Ron Paul is busy sewing up the donations and straw polls. He’s got more funds from NH donors than Rudy! And more from the military than any candidate.
I thought that was interesting since even though he is strong on defense and going after anyone who hurts us, he’s not for nationbuilding.
What happened was, they did not want her asking him any more questions so they asked her to leave. She said she would but would do it on her own, and to please stop touching her.. Instead they jumped on her. She kept repeating that she said she would.
And Fred just stood there and said nothing while the brutality continued...I mean she was polite when she asked the question.
What kind of person has someone hauled away just because you don’t like the question?
From what I understand, Paul, Hunter and Tancredo are not CFR members.
He was recorded to say he hid that fact when he was running for office...
I know Paul isn’t but Hunter and Tancredo don’t matter — they have virtually no support anywhere that I can see and have not raised $3M in the last quarter. (And I cover 3 GOP events per weekend at the GOP booths at all the functions)
Also my comment was about Cheney, (but I forgot to quote) there’s a video where David Rockefeller praises him for being on board with the CFR agenda...and he admits he hid his membership when he was running for office.
There is also one you can see that tells just how many of these NGOs that Rockefeller started or is head of...there are far too many NGOs, the UN included who have far too much influence on our gov’t, for my liking.
August 21st and the NAU meeting is coming up soon...why do they need the RMCP and US Army to keep others from having forums at the same time? Something’s up.
Do you believe in the conspiracy theories she wanted to ask about?
By the way welcome to FR, I guess.
