WASHINGTON – Former Sen. Fred Thompson, a Republican presidential candidate in waiting, candidly answered a question at a campaign stop in Texas yesterday regarding his membership in the Council on Foreign Relations, sometimes referred to as a "shadow government" organization of elites with a global agenda.

In an exchange caught on YouTube that later deteriorated into a police encounter, an activist asked Thompson about his membership in the group, linking it with plans for a "North American Union."

I don’t cheer for people that think 9/11 was an inside job. I don’t give a damn who they are trying to heckle. You can hear in the video that the woman was obviously having some sort of altercation with the people around her prior to being ASKED to leave. She then threw a fit, as she was forced to leave. She was obviously a plant and obviously there specifically to cause a disturbance.

So, if she was removed by the police, does Fred Thompson control the police? Did he give any indication that he was troubled by her at all? No, he didn’t. Yet, here you are wringing your hands and blaming him for it here.

If you believe in free speech, you should damn well learn what it is. She’s free to speak all she wants and nobody, police, Fred Thompson, or anyone else infringed on that. However, she’s not free to be heard by whomever she chooses, nor is she free to act in any manner she chooses in public.

Fred is supposed to ‘man up’ because some other people threw some kooky woman out of a press gathering?

No, Jim Robinson did not upset me. And NO, I do not support Rudy Julie Annie. I am a Fred Thompson supporter and an American who still believes in Free Speech. You might want to look into that. It’s covered in the First Amendment to the Constitution of The United States.

So, who’s your new guy? Now that you’ve come out of the closet, who are you supporting?

It was a private function.

Oh, really? Well, here's what the article said:

Former Sen. Fred Thompson, a Republican presidential candidate in waiting, candidly answered a question at a campaign stop in Texas yesterday

Since when is a "campaign stop" a "private function"? Fundraisers can be a "private function" but not a "campaign stop". If it would have been a "private function" she'd never have been admitted.

Nice try. Well.....not really. More like a pitiful attempt to distort the facts.

Ho hum....when non-intellectual people can’t respond sensibly they resort to name calling. Thanks for showing everyone on this thread how shallow you are.

Now, go study for your GED.

I’m still supporting Fred Thompson but after listening to people like you all day, I’m starting to wonder. If you are the prototype of people supporting Fred, I might seriously want to start looking elsewhere.

You, and others, have not helped Fred today with your comments that have been totally nonsensical and of little intellectual value and reasoning. And, that’s a shame because I think Fred Thompson is a really good man, but, I certainly do not want to be identified with the likes of you.

No one is asking you to cheer for anyone; just respect a person's right to speak even if they're a kook.

Geesh!!! Grow up. Are you even old enough to vote?

I guess you think she should be jailed. After all, what does she think this is; a free country where a person’s right to speak is protected by the Constitution?

Everyone's entitled to free speech, but no one is entitled to an audience.

Unless you concede there’s a giant conspiracy, they’ll claim you support it.

Let ‘em wale away. So far, all of their waling is getting them nowhere. Their candidate [fine man that he is] isn’t a blip on the radar.

Really? Can you give us a link to support this? Who says so--besides yourself, I mean? And you derive your authority on this matter from...?
I'll wait for your response.

You people pumping this silliness are one step away from running around Times Square with a sandwich board and a megaphone...

...or BVDs and a guitar.

Um, no.

It was private property. Being open to the public does not make it less private property.

At any given shopping mall, for example, they have the right to kick anybody they want out and control your speech therein.
