“FEINGOLD: Well, there’s a lot of sentiment in the country, even the polls show it, for actually impeaching the president and the vice president.”

Congress approval rating: 14%
President Bush rating: 35%

Me thinks Feingold officially fell off the shark.

Senator Feingold should consider a self-impeachment considering all that he is doing to harm our leadership in a time of war. His behavior is despicable.

Russ Feingold is one of the stupidest senators in congress - and that says a lot! If this were a just world, he would be running for dog catcher.

Q: Why are you liberals impeaching Bush?

A: Because we want to. We all want to. That's all you need right?

This behavior is normal for someone in despair, hopeless, frustrated and trapped. They know we are slowly winning the WOT.

The fact that Feingold teamed up with McCain to mount a direct attack on the First Amendment tells me everything I need to know about him.

Mr. Feingold, you're a hypocrite of the first order.

Shut up.

I’m no fan of Bush, but Fiengold is a plan fool...the Constitution defines “High crimes and misdemeanors” as grounds for impeachment and Bush has committed neither. If I were Bush, I would actually wish for an impeachment attempt...it would curry sympathy from the public, boost my poll numbers again, and upset all Democratic chances of victory for the White House in 2008 (which now seems all but certain).

Which is exactly why they’re not doing it. And it’s exactly why they’re NOT sticking to their guns and ending the Iraq war. The war is their biggest weapon for ‘08! Why would they want to throw that away?

This is more like chasing parked cars, and failing to catch them. Even dogs know better....

and let’s not forget “McCain Feingold”. People who beat up on John McCain should not forget the Russ Feingold part of the bill.

"RUSH: This is unbelievable. If she means what she says, she's made up her own convenient set of lies and is living them as though they're reality, which is psychopathic. Tell a lie often enough and believe it ..."

This is pure "Doublethink" the demRats beleive and practice it as a religion!

George Orwell coined the term doublethink in his classic novel 1984. Doublethink is the power to hold two completely contradictory beliefs in one's mind simultaneously, and accept both of them.

"To know and not to know, to be conscious of complete truthfulness while telling carefully constructed lies, to hold simultaneously two opinions which cancelled out, knowing them to be contradictory and believing in both of them, to use logic against logic, to repudiate morality while laying claim to it, to believe that democracy was impossible and that the Party was the guardian of democracy, to forget whatever it was necessary to forget, then to draw it back into memory again at the moment when it was needed, and then promptly to forget it again: and above all, to apply the same process to the process itself.

The REAL answer is: Because the Republicans successfully impeached Clinton.

Well, there's a lot of sentiment in the country, even the polls show it, for actually impeaching the president and the vice president.

Last I checked Bush's approval rating, as dismal as it is, was still 20 points or so higher than Congress's. So if Feingold wants to be intellectually consistent, he'd better impeach himself before he gets to impeaching Bush.

I think the only reason the people of Wisconsin elected him is because he is good looking. But them liberals are empty shirts anyway

Feingold will NEVER “jump the shark” - Like Cindy Sheehan, he is so wrapped up and invested in this Bush Derangement Syndrome, he cannot be derailed, and the MSM will protect him from any possible consequences of his actions.

But this motion for censure means exactly SQUAT. If he does not have the gumption to seek, to demand, impeachment articles to be brought against Bush and Cheney (and apparently he thinks that both, or nothing at all, are the only options), then all his posturing is for the photo ops, nothing more.

It’s so obvious. They don’t to convict (well, some do), they just want to stain his presidency.

Yes doublethink, like Kerry was for it before he was against it. Also, like Hildebeast was for the war, now she is against it. I guess she was against it back when she was for it?
