The bleeding continues from that sore on the butt of journalism, CNN.
Kelly Ripa tries to give Anderson Cooper props by putting him on her show, it FAILS.
Every local media outlet spouts their lines--running their stories....and they lose viewers.
Even CBS hires Christiane Amanpour for "60 Minutes"...and viewership DECLINES for both.
I love it.
HEY CNN! When you gonna wake up and become fair and balanced?!
I have always wanted to put my post in large lettering like yours. Could you tell me how you do it?
In the last year, I've detected a few moves in the fair and balanced direction. Glenn Beck is a move in the right direction; however, I wish CNN Headline News would go back to their old every 1/2-hour headline news format. CNNHN now seems redundant to CNN.
There busness model is that of a “ad agency” in this case for the DNC. Fair and balanced would cause them to lose their biggest client. So the simple answer is never.
Well the answer to that is no time soon. I am a loyal Fox News fan and never watch CNN.
But this is going to change this fall when CNN goes HD and Fox News, as far as I can tell, sticks to their 70's technology and continues to give us plain old vanilla SD. I can't help it. I just like watching HD much better than standard def TV. In LA the local news is pretty much HD these days and it very high quality. I think Fox had better wake up and get going with their HD programming or they will continue to see the ratings slide that has, I believe, already started. Part of the reason for that slide is their foolish NO HD policy. It is going to bite them.
