Saddam's WMD's on tape : where are they ?
VIDEO ^ | 07 24 2007 | drzz

Posted on 07/24/2007 8:56:30 AM PDT by drzz

"The US intelligence agencies have seen WMD's in a Saddam's military parade in January 2002, WMD's which have not been found after the war." Richard Miniter, intelligence expert ("Iraq had WMDs" in 22 myths that undermine the war on terror, p. 104)

Where are the trucks with the big missiles we see in this propaganda video of the Saddam's era ? There are extracts of many videos, but the footage about WMDs was made after 2002 - it is too good to have been made in the late 90's of before.

It is probably the parade Miniter is talking about : the one of January 2002.

The long-range missiles pictured were forbidden by the UN and could have been filled with chemical and biological germs, like the Iraq Survey Groupd stated (see Duelfer report, "chemical section").

After reading over 3000 Iraqi documents I concluded that Saddam regime opted to produce the basic materials, also called Precursors, required to build Chemical Weapons rather than Chemical weapons itself first because they can always claim it is dual use material, i.e. used for civilian industries, second because it will last for longer time in storage than the final Chemical weapon product.

In my opinion and based on three particular documents that I read; I think that these precursors required to build the Chemical Weapons are hidden in the Anbar province. The documents even name the locations where these precursors are possibly buried.

>>>A syrian dissent was sure the Syrian secret services had buried them in the Bekaa Valley.<<<

There is a crude hand drawn map of the Iraqi WMD locations - two sites in Syria and one or two in the Bekaa valley. I'm sure it must have been posted on FR - or at least one of the Iraqi war blogs.

It was drawn either by an Iraqi or a Syrian defector.

Anybody got a copy they can post.

Truck convoys to Syria were reported at the beginning of the war. I have no idea why the Bush admin doesn’t say this every day. Are they really afraid of Syria?

Drzz, I found a copy of the map I was talking about along with some other maps of probable locations where the WMD's are located. Be interested in what you think of this info. Link...

"Gee, Dick Cheney and Don Rumsfeld seemed awfully sure about where they were before we invaded. Why not ask them?"

I don't recall them saying they knew where they were. I do recall that the UN inspectors had obtained records from the Saddam regime that showed the production of 1000s of tons of anthrax, sarin, and XV. The Bush Admin did mention that and that the Saddam regime had not verified the destruction of those WMDs.

Do you have a link to a source that says the Bush Admin knew exactly where the WMDs were located?

“The US Establishment has buried everything related to Iraq because most of the US Congress and the former US government of Clinton were toughly fucked by Saddam Hussein :”

Bush’s readiness to cover for the Clintons and the Congress is perplexing.

I understand what you are stating. However, in this situation it doesn;t make sense.

The polls indicate the unwashed masses have been brainwashed by the media harlots into thinking our involvement in Iraq can be simply terminated by pulling out with little or no consequences to us. The prostitutes in Congress are dancing to this tune. There is a very real danger that either Congress will cut off funding to the Iraqi operation or that the public reaction to the same will adversely impact the Republicans in 2008.

It would behoove the Administration to come clean with as much ammunition as possible to blow the Dems out of the water and justify our continued presence there.

Govts have always kept secrets when the truth was worse.

I have trouble wrapping my head around what could actually be worse than allowing this particular instance of secrecy to damage civilian support for the war, prolong it for the US military, and undermine the country's moral authority.

Who are we actually protecting? France? Germany? Russia? The Clintons? The State Department? The CIA?

Protecting people that spend their days actively plotting the administration's downfall hardly makes any sense here on my planet.

You assume that 'blowing the Dems out of the water' is the admin's goal. I'm saying it aint'.

First noticed that when Reagan had the perfect opp to do the same thing to the Dem's over the Contra's and didn't.

Some larger plan is afoot and it prolly ain't good for America.

Simple. An incompetent American means that a One World gov't is needed, nay *required*.

What we HAVE seen and were recovered was brnd new chemical suits, decon unit, and chemical detection equipment. This is a pretty good indicator that there were chemical weapons somewhere.

Well, I think Reagan had to deal with a hostile COngress at the time of Iran-Contra. The press and media had tried to crucify him because COngress had passed some idiotic law about not helping the anti-Sandanistas, so they had to launder money to do it.

I don't recall them saying they knew where they were.

Donald Rumsfeld
ABC Interview
March 30, 2003

"We know where they are. They're in the area around Tikrit and Baghdad and east, west, south and north somewhat."

Yeah, you're still thinking that politics is 'real'. It isn't.

FDR said, "In politics, nothing happens by accident. If it happens, you can bet it was planned that way."

He was in a position to know and it's all politics. Bush, Reagan, Clinton, Nixon, LBJ; all of it.

You may already have this, but here's a site with your map and a translation of the comments plus a bunch of other maps and corroborating evidence of where the WMD's are.

Below your map are a bunch of other maps pertaining to WMD locations.

Click on "Read Article" link in red just above your map to get English translation of the text below map plus some other interesting stuff on WMD's.
