Raw pork gives you Trichinosis. While raw fish does have the possibility of carrying Anisakis, it’s much less common here. Besides, sushi has to have fish.

Sushi sashimi is also traditionally inspected for worms and other parasites. That is partly why sashimi is so expensive.

Raw pork gives you Trichinosis. Not any more--Trichinosis is nonexistant in the American food supply. Besides, freezing kills the parasites.
It still exists in Turd World countries....
