My guess, and it’s only a guess, is that once the grant junkies see that the FDA would have the power to BAN NICOTINE from cigarettes, they will have thoughts of the their gravy train derailing off the tracks.
A nightmare for them.

What will they do about tomatoes? Artichokes? Tobacco is not the only nightshade plant with nicotine.
