As it was long ago pointed out, Hollywood is great for producing morality plays, based on the assumption that whoever makes a morality play has higher morals than the audience, precisely *because* NOBODY in Hollywood has higher morals than ANYONE in the audience.

It comes under the heading of “Those who can’t do, teach, and whine incessantly about how they know more about it than those who do, *because* they teach.”

A modern morality play, restage The Crucible to tackle to problem of Nifongism.

Another modern rewrite, The Jungle 2 to tackle to problems of disgusting contamination of our food supply thanks to an international production with none of the oversights we’ve been used to for many decades.
