That’s your opinion. Besides, my comment was that, if Israel is attacked by missiles, the US will step in and try to stop Israel from responding in kind. We’ve done that as recently as last year, and there is little evidence to suggest that we’d respond differently now.

The same people who fired 10,000 missiles into Israel last summer. Israel yawned, killed a couple of thousand terrorists, destroyed most of their infrastructure and went on their merry way. In the meantime, the Lebanese realized who the terrorists are and are killing them because they don’t want the same thing happening again.

People still look at war as taking territory. Territory can no longer be held with today’s weaponry. Tomorrow morning Israel could turn Lebanon, Iran and Syria into a wasteland before they have their first cup of coffee.

The situation in Lebanon was far different from what would be the case if Syria attacked Israel directly. When an actual country attacks you, you can attack back.

Sorry Mr. Rosen, and FR, I'm not going to read the thread. My response has probably been posted. What I will do is ask the Syrians to read Isiah, chapter 17. And for you atheists out there, the Book has been right in ALL of it's prophecies.
