Although official Washington and our seditious media are all busy playing their usual mindless political games,

President Bush has quietly reshaped our nation's relationship with three extremely important South Asian countries: Afghanistan, Pakistan and India. The importance of his work in this area cannot be overstated.

Just imagine how far advanced we'd be now in the fight against Islamofacism if politicians and media types had put our country's best interests ahead of their run-of-the-mill political agendas.

PHOTO OF THE DAY: (I like this one because of what it says about GWB's concern for the average Americans who visit the White House.) The President calls up an official photographer to take a group photo with the White House visitors after his return from Camp David. The man does not like tardiness, so he seemed annoyed that the photographer wasn't already on hand.

He might have been a little bit crabby with the photographer, be GWB was happy to oblige several young couples by having photo taken with each them and their young children.

That colonoscopy wasn't so bad. Not fun, but not horrible either.

In this photo taken in March 2006, President Bush shakes hands with Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh after a joint press conference at Hyderabad House in New Delhi. The United States and India extended nuclear talks for the second day Friday in a determined attempt to finalize an implementing agreement for their landmark civilian atomic deal.

Former President George H.W. Bush takes a last look before donating his World War II service revolver to the National Constitution Center in Philadelphia on Wednesday, July 18, 2007.

In addition to the revolver, which was maintained in outstanding condition, also donated were the amunition belt and gun's waterproof cover carried by the then very young lieutenant.

Although his disease has clearly left its mark in thinning, grayer hair and a more aged look, Tony Snow continues to work despite having ongoing chemotherapy. Here's an update on his condition, from a brief question and answer during the last daily press briefing:

Q: Tony, how are you doing? And how much longer is the chemo --

MR. SNOW: I've got three more chemos. So four weeks from today I'll finish up this chemo regimen. Then I will do follow-up chemo, which will involve smaller doses of one agent and less frequent chemo sessions of another.

Q: God bless you Tony.

This is a beautiful photo of the White House taken yesterday morning. Except for the car in front and the shielded structure on the roof, this photo evokes a time long ago when the White House was not surrounded by fences and multiple layers of security.
