THE senior British official was unequivocal. The murder of the former KGB man Alexander Litvinenko was undeniably state-sponsored terrorism on Moscows part. That is the view at the highest levels of the British government.
This official had access to the latest police and intelligence findings, and he was reflecting the views of senior Home Office counter-terrorism officials, Scotland Yard detectives and others with close knowledge of the murder investigation. All confirmed last week that they believe the plot to poison Litvinenko in London last year was ordered by the Russian secret service, the FSB.
In Moscow, strong words were also being used. Russian security circles wanted to intensify the new cold war with Britain caused by the murder.

No we are used to our free speech so insulting politicians is a tradition going back centuries for us. Russians are still servile in nature and more likely to kowtow to their masters.
Not all Russians worship the current Kremlin dictator. Then again there a fewer these days, since Premier Putin orders them bumped off if they speak the truth about their tyrant. KGB Putin has not changed since the 'old days'. Now he has a brainwashed youth cult to do his bidding.

Agreed because I myself do not worship him neither none I know. But I give Putin a credit for all he did for Russia.
Although Putin is the authoritarian. HE IS NOT A DICTATOR.
