If Majority Leader Harry Reid can’t start pulling troops out of Iraq, he doesn’t want to start paying them any more either.
After an amendment to begin withdrawing U.S. troops from Iraq within 120 days failed to receive the 60 votes needed to proceed, Reid set the entire defense authorization bill aside. By doing so, he shelved a 3.5 percent pay raise for all uniformed service personnel, $4 billion in equipment upgrades and a new program to treat traumatic brain injuries.
To increase pressure on Republicans to support the measure, sponsored by Sen. Carl Levin (D.-Mich.) and Sen. Jack Reed (D.-R.I.), Reid threw the Senate into an all night session on Tuesday evening that lasted through Wednesday morning. Levin-Reid fell eight votes short, 52-47.
“There are two things that I want to accomplish,” Reid told reporters immediately after the amendment vote. “One is to pass a defense authorization bill, but with a deadline dealing with Iraq. Once we put that together, we'll move forward on it.”
Quit trying to point fingers at others. Nevada is your responsibility and look what Nevada is doing to the U.S.
Wake up people - our problems come from the local level with their votes.
Reid and Daschle - what a pair. Surely there are enough “heart-of-America” voters out there that have the brains to look past their greed of funds from the treasury to insure there will be a treasury.

Reid deludes himself, though, if he thinks that the ultimate popular uprising against Congress is going to favor him ~ it's not.

For the most part dingy harry is elected from Las Vegas, which is about as lib as you can get. I mean they live in a make beleive city!!!
I know many from “fly-over” Nevada and they ain’t like Vegas.
Was hoping the voter corruption investigation in Southern Nevada might help shut down the crooks like reid. THAT’S probably why all the fuss about firing those few US Attorneys, that were not pursuing voter fraud.
Write your Senator even if he or she is a member of al-Qaeda.

As you can see the al-Qaeda Member is a TRAITOR and must resign his position from the Senate. He like many other anti-American Democrats wants to kill as many Americans as possible. They should not be serving in the US Senate, as they are TRAITORS and members of the enemies of the American people.
I request that you immediately ask this al-Qaeda member to resign and that you no longer support the traitors in the US Senate.
