Where in my post did I mention anything about torture being acceptable?
I’ve shot suffering dogs in the past and if needed will do so again. But would never consider doing so to a person.
I know people that use dogs to hunt mountain lions and bear. The dog doesn’t always survive the encounter.
Some people make dogs pull sleds in below zero conditions for days on end, some don’t survive.
Some people put dogs in cages and some chain to a post.
Some people eat dogs much like I eat beef or rabbits or lobsters.
There’s a hell of a lot more things going that concern me a whole lot more that aren’t causing a national uproar.
If you want to humanize your pet then by all means do it. I was raised on a farm where slaughtering took place and haven taken much game over the years, I’m comfortable with my perspective on animals.

Got that right! Just look at the Cincinnati Bengals. Players being arrested is SOP around here, and Marvin Lewis and Mike Brown don’t seem to be too upset or doing too much about it.
Let’s just say we see things differently. I am a vegetarian who looks at all living the creatures the same (and no, I do not wear leather).

My comments were on KKK Kleagle Robert Byrd and his hypocrisy. Never did I make any comments about ogfighting; neither my post (that you are so upset about) not my previous posting history ever supports such cruelty. In fact, I posted threads that condemned Vick in the past few days.

And the people that are ripping the babies up didn’t first start torturing animals? Or at the very least ignoring the fact. Ignoring Vick just turns people more and more callous enabling them to do what you mentioned. Oh,wow, I’m pregnant I guess I’ll just throw the kid in the dumpster when it’s born....some things shouldn’t be ignored because they will breed even more insanity.

In 2004 Vick signed a 10-year contract worth $130 million making him the highest paid player in NFL history and one of the highest paid ever in sports.
Did anyone notice that he sucks? The Falcons really are a bad franchise. He never had the talent to be anything but mediocre.
