Why is this important? Are whites supposed to feel bad? Should whites hate themselves? Am I supposed to want to be black? Will this crap, and it is crap, ever end?
Every time I fill out an online job application, and come across that EEOC thing that asks my gender and race, I ask myself the same question.
I wonder what would happen if I said female and hispanic? Who's going to tell me that I'm not Latino enough? I'm adopted, I just might have Spanish ancestors in the mix, and besides, it's who I feel I am right now...
