It really struck me when Hunter said that we need to keep factories in the U.S.A. for our NATIONAL SECURITY, and he gave examples of when Chrysler built thousands of tanks during WWII, and when Hunter sent a team down to see who could build equipment in our country to help our troops for the Iraq war.
I didn’t get it all, so if anyone can expound, please do.

Resources. Think about it. If we have to depend on imports, vs. our own manufacturing, that makes us vulnerable.
It is fine to trade as well as manufacturer. But, if we have nothing to manufacture, then we turn into what the Soviet Union was during WW2.
