Senate Republicans have mustered enough votes to scuttle a proposed troop withdrawal from Iraq. A roll call is continuing and the vote is not final.
The biggest problem with grossly oversized fonts is that they make grammatical errors much more apparent.

Yeah!! Thank you Republicans, we needed that. We can’t afford to surrender before we finish off the terrorists, no matter what the Democrats say. As one FReeper put it, pulling our troops from Iraq now would be like pulling firefighters from a fire before it is out.
I will bet that Evan Bayh voted against the surrender bill. I wonder about Nelson from Nebraska.
Is dingy Harry the best that the Dems can do?
Thank heaven I kept reading. My first understanding was that Rs, as a voting block, had surrendered (to some rat bill or the other...) The Republican Party has a lot to make up for before they earn my confidence again.
To those who blocked the surrender, good job! Keep it up!
