My reply was only related to what I believe as far as sitting in judgment of others. Right/wrong?, my role etc. You made a very harsh judgment of me in the beginning which I did not really see as fair. However, I think, given what has been written back and forth, you and I would probably agree more than we disagree.

I have always been very interested in end times prophecy and kept my eyes and ears open to the signs and scriptures, etc. regarding as such. I do have to say though, that it was always a little daunting to just sit down and sift through it on my own. However I am using a study that is so easy to understand and requires you to back all of your conclusions with scripture. Not something you read from a commentary. While I can understand others feelings regarding eschatology as overwhelming, “scary”, etc. I still feel it should not be dismissed out of hand, as so many fellow believers do. 27% percent of the Bible is about the second coming and the end times, yet you very rarely, if ever hear about it from the pulpit. And when you try to engage a fellow believer in a conversation about it, they give you a blank stare and inevitably say, “No man knoweth the hour nor the day...” They turn tail and run. I don’t think they are less of a Christian or are condemned, etc. I just feel very sad. Satan wants us as a collective body to be ignorant of God’s word and ESPECIALLY of the future. What better way to lead us astray during the coming tumultuous days. God says, “My people parish from lack of knowledge” and many I fear will because they turned a blind eye to that 27% of the scripture. Their faith will not be strong or rooted enough to withstand.

Anyway, I think your search in the things of the Holy Spirit is AWESOME. He is definitely the 1/3 of the Godhead that gets left out and is not preached about. Jesus describes Him as “One who is even greater then Me” and yet we stick Him in the proverbial corner. We are so busy with our lives and the way we operate we can ilconcieve God and the Holy Spirit and put them in a box. I encourage and support you in your pursuit of the truth.

As far as sharing my thoughts and feelings on eschatology, I would instead point you to the study of Revelation called Precept upon Precept by Kay Arthur. Check out www.preceptaustin.org and visit the section on "Bible Prophecy" and at the bottom of that on "Commentaries on Revelation" and/or section titled "Bible Commentaries" and click on Revelation. Also, treat yourself and read “Ezekiel Option” and “Epicenter” by Joel Rosenberg. His fiction work is full of fact and entertaining at the same time. This guy is the “real deal” and not some “off his rocker nutjob”. www.joelrosenberg.com

God Bless you! And if we never meet here, I will see you in Glory!

“You made a very harsh judgment of me in the beginning which I did not really see as fair.”

Yes I did and it was wrong and I am sorry for it. I apologize. Another sin was not following a directive of the holy spirit to write you an apology after I wrote my last post. “Dinner’s ready.” Off I went rather than eat a warm as opposed to a hot dinner. The 5 senses ripped me and you off. Wouldn’t have taken more than 2 minutes.

I’ve got your entire post in a safe place and I will look up those sites.

“I am using a study that is so easy to understand and requires you to back all of your conclusions with scripture.”

Great! Without Scripture to back it up I would not believe it unless their was divine intervention. I have at this time a love/hate relationship with our times. I know that someday all evil will be wiped out but until then I hate the evil I see but love the fact it is one day closer to nothing but the Righteousness of God living fully in every Christian. Sean Hannity, back when I used to listen to him often said “Let not your heart be troubled” but it still was and is. Your name and my tagline both say we are troubled by what may happen and we hate the thought of it. But I am looking forward to your sites and being comforted by the Scriptures in them.

There are some doctrines that are lauded to the skies that I hear all the time like the Trinity and Heaven/Hell but I believe the holy spirit field has been suppressed by the devil. It is rarely ever talked about and when I try to engage a conversation in it it usually dies on the spot. (I use the small “h” and small “s” in holy spirit for the gift of holy spirit that God created in us when we were baptized in it). God is Holy and God is Spirit so God would be Holy Spirit. The KJV uses this accurately most of the time but sometimes they got it wrong but in context it is usually discernable. I have no sites to send you to because I have not found one yet that is accurate. I was taught the basics of the holy spirit field 30 years ago and it has been a quest ever since then. But through one other man and the holy spirit showing me Scripturally some things I was taught were wrong. But I am very glad for your encouragement and your recognizing this field has been squelched. “ Jesus describes Him as “One who is even greater then Me” and yet we stick Him in the proverbial corner. We are so busy with our lives and the way we operate we can ilconcieve God and the Holy Spirit and put them in a box.”

“I encourage and support you in your pursuit of the truth.”

Thank you so much and my prayer is the same to you. To LOVE the Truth. May God grant us Truth.
