You know, there are more than a few formerly level-headed conservatives who now embrace the belief that the Bush administration had a hand in the World Trade Center holocaust. I don’t hold to that belief...Nor do I. Anybody who has spent any time following the terrorist threats to this nation should know better than to believe such a thing. From the first attack on the WTC in '92, to the the downing of the Japan flight in the Bojinka plans, to the trailing of various individuals across the globe and in the US and their activities, to the people taking flying lessons "just to learn how to fly" (and not land) an airplane...nobody should believe such a thing. There is simply too much information on these things and more that indicate that terrorists accomplished the task they set of bringing down the WTC after their first failed attempt.
Nor is this article any surprise. Nor should it surprise anybody. Anybody following the border issue for any length of time has been aware
for years that Middle Easterners have been coming across the border illegally. What
is surprising is that the FBI is tipping their hand in this. Why announce the investigation when, IMO, the announcement of the investigation should correspond at the culmination of it with the arrest of the ringleaders, along with those they helped across the border, and the cessation of their actions.

Which has turned me sour on the whole venture. Armies kill and destroy, they don't police and they shouldn't be involved in nation building, which is exactly what our troops are being forced to do.

I find that the oddest part of the whole announcement. As you earlier stated, there is no surprise of the contents of the announcement, as we have long known that terrorists are and have been coming through both borders.
