Do you fly the U.S. Flag?
As a traitor who advocates the destruction of my country, how do you feel about the troops in Iraq?
Why did your cowardly "old rebel family" surrender if they really felt as strongly as you suggest? Do you honestly think you stand a better chance of overthrowning the United States by force NOW than you did THEN?
Southerners weren’t trying to overthrow the U.S. government by force, just to withdraw from the Union. Similar to the colonies withdrawing from England. They weren’t trying to overthrow the British government, just to withdraw from its jurisdiction.
Southerners fly the American Flag proudly. Our nation had an internal disagreement back in 1861 and it tragically led to war. In the post-war years, Americans honored both sides in the conflict. Southerners proudly waved the American Flag, but reserved the right to honor our ancestors by also waving the Rebel Flag on occasion, usually alongside Old Glory. Nobody objected to this, because everyone knew southerners were highly patriotic.
This began to change back in the early 1990s when the far left decided that trashing the Confederacy was a good way to divide the GOP, and to set the stage for a future assault on the American Flag and the Founding Fathers. Once the Confederacy is purged, the left will then turn their wrath on ALL flags that flew over slavery and ALL slaveowners, using the precedents set in the current war against the Rebel Flag, Jefferson Davis, etc.
tell us:
1. did you serve in the US armed forces??? (i am a retired officer.)
2. IF you served, was it in COMBAT & in how many wars??? (i was in TWO.)
3. do you hold the PURPLE HEART(s), the CIB or any other similar decoration???
my guess is you TRUTHFUL answer to ALL the questions will have to be: NO. (most of the dumb-bunnies who have been DUMB enough in the past to call me a traitor NEVER served and have a HUNDRED EXCUSES for their failure to "go to the sound of gunfire". instead they did NOTHING but spit on/question the patriotism of the ones of us who DID serve.)
as to how i feel about the troops in Iraq, i VOLUNTEERED for Iraq/Afghanistan but was NOT re-called due to advanced age/disability.
any other questions??? or would you simply prefer to say "I'm sorry that i opened my big mouth." & slink away, tail between your legs.
