Let's just say: Lindsey was absolutely wrong about immigration.

But no one plays the role of "complete ass" like Democrat Jim Webb. This punk is about as tactful as Terry McAuliffe, and I hope to God this jerk is a one-termer from Virginia.

Yep the people of Virginia proved that uninformed and duped feel good voters do stupid things when it comes to politics.

might have helped had Bush made some changes a few days before the election instead of waiting until after.

Jim Webb should go back to writing porno books. He doesn’t belong in the Senate.

Jim Webb, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, Dick Durbin.... They're all the same and still mimicking the DNC talking points they received over 4 and a half years ago (See page http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1806352/posts#13 as a good example) and their marching orders they get from George Soros to tell them all how to say it. They all come out with the same tired bumper sticker slogans like "we need a new direction" because the fools are incapable of an original thought among any one of them and just when they're stuck in a corner, they pull an old slanted poll out of some left wing rag.

Well, I'm not impressed.

The democrat leadership reminds me of an estranged husband saying, "If I can't have her, no one will" So the democrat leadership sets out for this country to fail at everything it tries to achieve, killing this country if they have to just so they can get into power again. They prove that theory every time they open their mouths to utter what they HOPE are speeches.

Our troops in Iraq fighting the war and their leadership is saying the war is already lost. The reinforcement of troops just got into Iraq and they are crying that the surge has already failed when THEY'VE been been in power since January of this year and they have not accomplished anything what so ever with any kind of meaning to this country. They have failed at everything they have set out to do.

Capitol Hill Blue wrote about the DNC talking points way back into January 6th, 2003 some of the key points......

[snip]

The talking points outline a strategy to raise public doubts of the President's real intentions, including: --Saying the war is about oil and will be fought to benefit oil companies that have long supported Bush and the Republican party;

--Claiming the Bush administration has "manufactured" evidence against Saddam Hussein and used that evidence to encourage Britain and other allies to join the American fight against Iraq;

--Suggesting a wartime economy is the only way the administration can revive the country's lagging economic situation.

"It is clear that the current approval ratings of the administration are tied directly to strong American feelings toward traditional values," the talking points say. "To counter this, doubt must be raised as to America's true position within the world community and the true intent of the Bush administration in waging war."

[snip]

Among the other points Democrats hope to make in the coming weeks:

--Both President Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney are controlled by oil and defense industry special interest groups.

--The war on terrorism is a failure because Osama bin Laden is still at large.

--America is unprepared for another terrorist attack because of White House preoccupation with Iraq.

--War will increase the country's economic woes.

--Bush will be forced to raise taxes to finance the war.

"It's time to take the battle to the people and make them understand just how dangerous George W. Bush's policies are to the future of America," the talking points conclude.

Did any of that sound familiar to you?

I am NOT talking about just idealogical differences here, I am talking about the Democrat party outwardly undermining this country's domestic and foreign policies even to go as far as to throw a war just for political agenda and influences.

In my mind, this is not just an act of political rivalry but and acts of traitors of this country.

[animated Graham said to the war critics]

I think we can expect Graham to start sounding more and more like a Conservative in the coming months. His hero he has staked his future on, is losing ground fast and he knows it.

Sorry Lesley but it is too little too late for us folks in SC.

I agree. Webb looks unstable. I see him having a major meltdown. The scary thing is that I’m afraid he’ll drag people with him.

Here is how Webb’s Born Fighting PAC spins it...in an email they just sent out...

Dear Friend,

Click here to watch Jim Webb’s appearance on Meet the Press.

Yesterday, Senator Jim Webb appeared on NBC’s Meet the Press. Jim debated Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC) on the war in Iraq.

If you were unable to watch on Sunday, you can read the transcript and watch the entire segment on the Meet the Press website.

Following is an excerpt from the show:

SEN. WEBB: No, I don’t think that there is a war, to start off with. I think that this has been a botched occupation. It’s been going on for four years after the purely military part of it was done. This administration has failed in terms of bringing the right diplomatic formula to the table. We — all of the things that people like myself were predicting would happen if we went into Iraq are the — exactly the sorts of things that the president and the small group of people who have sort of rallied around him are saying will happen if we leave. We were saying that Iran would be empowered, we were saying that international terrorism would be empowered, we were saying that the reputation of the United States would be diminished around the world, and we were saying the region would become more unstable. So we’ve reached the point, and I see, with what Senator Warner and Senator Lugar have introduced, that there’s a good, strong feeling among the Republicans as well, we’ve reached the point where we have to come together as a Congress and attempt to bring some order into this.

MR. RUSSERT: Are you trying to wrest control of the war from the President, in effect, along with the Republicans?

SEN. WEBB: No. I, I think that any administrative discretion, any executive power, has its limits. And the Congress has the authority, not only to appropriate, but to put conditions on, for instance, how our troops are being used. You can go back, for instance, on the — if you want to look at the amendment that I offered, which Senator Graham and other opposed even though we got 56 votes, the, the provision goes back to something that the Congress did when Harry Truman was president when they were sending troops to Korea who had not been trained and the Congress stepped in and said you can’t send anybody overseas until they’ve been in the military for 120 days. We’re trying to do this on the other end. Four years into a war you have to be able to put some rational limits on how our troops are being used. We’ve got soldiers and Marines right now who are spending more time in Iraq than they are in the states, and the executive branch isn’t speaking up. The Congress has the constitutional power to do so, and that’s what we’re trying to do.

To watch the entire segment with Jim and Senator Graham, click here. You can also watch highlight clips from the show: “Armed Services Committee on withdrawal date” and “Sen. Webb: ‘Botched occupation’ in Iraq.”

Thank you for your continued support of Born Fighting PAC.

Sincerely,

Senators polling troops to see if they want to come home. What crap. Democrats can never be allowed to run wars and that is it.

Can't believe we allow that scumbag Lindsey Graham to speak out against Webb. Things we would be sooooo much better if Graham had lost to the socialist Democrat. Just think, South Carolinians could have a Senator on the Meet the Press up there, proudly AGREEING with everything Webb has to say.

Senator Jim Webb (D-VA)

"We need to cut and run from Iraq immediately! Screw a stable Iraq -- whatever happens, happens. We are OFFENDING islam by fighting terrorists!"

Senator Alex Sanders (D-SC)

"You tell 'em, Jim! I voted to pardon Saddam Hussien this week and impeach Bush for war crimes. Thank GOD Lindsey Graham hadn't won or we'd still be killing terrorists now! I LOVE all them "true conservatives" who voted for me! Bwahahaha!!"

4 out of 5 Terrorists agree:
Vote DEMOCRAT in South Carolina if your guy doesn't win the primary!
