BioWillie is only 20% biodiesel, how to you lose money that fast when you're getting subsities? This company is showing a profit of minus a dollar fifty on every dollar sold.

Involuntary Chapter 7. Unless there are big problems, a company will usually file for voluntary protection prior to an involuntary being filed.

I see that they have also had some problem with the tax man.

12 cents? Maybe I should short it.

Yahoo Finance says $.105 a share. I got a pump and dump paper mailing from some sleaze bag outfit about them a couple of months ago. They were touting them as the next great growth stock.

The major holders are:

Holder_______________________________Shares_______Reported
APOLLO RESOURCES INTERNATIONAL INC___139,148,793__27-Nov-06
NELSON WILLIE HUGH___________________537,500______20-Apr-07
MCLAUGHLIN DENNIS____________________3,682,313____15-Jun-07
FREEMAN MORGAN_______________________6,000,000____8-Jan-07
LUCKETT WILLIAM JR___________________3,004,342____11-Jan-07

So Willie’s holdings are worth about $56K and Morgan Freeman’s are worth about $630,000 - if they sold right now.

Apollo Resources by the way is chaired by Dennis McLaughlin. Their stock is trading at 2.5 cents a share. So it looks like you COULD invest in Apollo and hold Earth Biofuels and many other fine holdings.

I think Slick Willie’s newest book is on “giving”

OPM

He made $19,000 a year as Arkansas Governor

Now they have over 65 million stashed with tax shelters in Ireland on his income from writing and also in the DR where they are building a “wee cottage”

[I think Slick Willie’s newest book is on “giving”]
Ya, he ‘gave’ to Juanita Brodderick too!!

It’s a sin how much money those people have acquired since he left office! By hook or crook.

whoops, lol

How did the subject get changed from BioWillie to Bill Clinton?
Anyway, Willie’s rescheduled all his concerts for the next 6 weeks, I’m wondering if there’s any connection.
Willie’s a good-hearted soul and I wish him the best. (that includes “seeing the Light” politically)

I have no idea about this company, but I know some people knowledgable about biodiesel who expect a shakeout in the industry due to its phenomenal growth rate over the last six years. In 2000, the U.S. produced 2 million gallons of biodiesel. Last year it was 245 million and the projection is for 375 million this year. USDA projects 700 million gallons by 2010.

That's production; capacity runs well ahead of that. People have been building at a furious pace. It would not be at all surprising to see a consolidation.

"Boy did I mistake this thread for something else" BUMP!

Interesting, didn't know about "BioWillie". Lost $1.50 dollars for every dollar? Sounds like he could serve as Federal Reserve Chairman under a Clinton or Obama adminstration. At least then when the economy crashes, no one would really be surprised.
