The following message is from our friend Vice President Al Gore.

Dear (Past Your Eyes),

A decade from now, when people look back on Live Earth, what they will remember isn't what happened during the show ––instead my hope is they remember what happened after. More than 2 billion of us joined together on 7.7.07 and with one voice demanded an end to the climate crisis. It is now our responsibility to carry this movement forward and force our leaders to take action.

That's why I'm asking you to join me in signing the Live Earth Pledge. Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid have signed this document, which calls for a 90% cut in global warming pollution. Now we need to convince more of our leaders to take this same courageous stand.

The pledge is a simple way to show that the political will exists to take the bold steps necessary to end the climate crisis. But it will only be effective if millions of Americans speak out and add their voice.

Throughout most of our short history, the United States and the American people have provided moral leadership for the world. Establishing the Bill of Rights, framing democracy in the Constitution, defeating fascism in World War II, toppling Communism, and landing on the moon –– all were the result of American leadership. Once again, Americans must come together and direct our government to take on a global challenge. Our leadership is a precondition for success.

The climate crisis offers us the chance to experience what few generations in history have had the privilege of experiencing: a mission; a compelling moral purpose; a shared cause; and the thrill of being forced by circumstances to put aside the pettiness and conflict of politics and to embrace a genuine moral and spiritual challenge.

Live Earth was a unique moment that now presents us with a unique choice.

Here is absolute proof that Al Gore thinks you and I are REALLY stupid and that he can tell outrageous lies about global warming and get away with it. It also re-inforces his pattern of blatant distortion of figures regarding Global Warming. Note this claim was made AFTER the poorly attended event was over and it was clear it nowhere near met it's participation expectations. No matter, why let a few facts get in the way of some pure propaganda

Nielsen figures for all channel viewing of live Earth in the US, including hispanic channels was around 11 million total. MSN claimed 10 million watched online, The BBC reported 3.1 million viewers in the UK, and less than 500,000 attended the six concerts worldwide. So that means Al gore is claiming that while only 25 million watched online or in the US and UK, somehow, 1,975,000,000 people watched in the rest of the world, or another way of looking at it, the US, UK and online audience accounted for just over 1% of the audience, the other 98% plus was the rest of the world...

Clear and incontrovertible proof that Al Gore is a charlatan and a liar.

It was appalling enough when the Gorebots threw this figure around before the concerts, since it was obviously not based in reality, but only in the feverish imaginations of Gorebots dreaming of how many viewers could conceivably have access to the program, IF they chose to watch. But to continue using this figure afterwards, when it is obviously bogus and probably off by a factor of 50 or more, is the rankest sort of dishonesty. How can we get the MSM to pay attention and debunk this blatantly fraudulent piece of Gorebot propaganda????

His viewer estimates were derived *before* the concert, having NO basis in reality, but projecting ratings that would match the World Cup Soccer Championship game. In other words, very far fetched.

But in true form, even though his *actual* ratings were pitiful in every country that measures them, he still touts the projected ratings as actuals.

And I imagine he will continue to push the lie for years.
