Just a second, here.

US ratings: 2.7 MILLION (19M for six minutes or more)
Britain ratings: 3.1 MILLION
Germany ratings: 1 MILLION
Internet ratings: 8 MILLION

So, the rest of the world kicked in 1,195.2 MILLION?

Uh, no.

Al, the first step in reducing noxious emissions is to shut your stupid mouth.

Is that picture from back in 2000 when he and our esteemed governor, Jeanne Shaheen, had the power companies let a bunch of water out of some dams so they’d have enough to canoe in on the Connecticut River? That was a good one!

"More than 2 billion of us joined together on 7.7.07 and with one voice demanded an end to the climate" crisis.

Here is absolute proof that Al Gore thinks you and I are REALLY stupid and that he can tell outrageous lies about global warming and get away with it. It also re-inforces his pattern of blatant distortion of figures regarding Global Warming. Note this claim was made AFTER the poorly attended event was over and it was clear it nowhere near met it's participation expectations. No matter, why let a few facts get in the way of some pure propaganda

Nielsen figures for all channel viewing of live Earth in the US, including hispanic channels was around 11 million total. MSN claimed 10 million watched online, The BBC reported 3.1 million viewers in the UK, and less than 500,000 attended the six concerts worldwide. So that means Al gore is claiming that while only 25 million watched online or in the US and UK, somehow, 1,975,000,000 people watched in the rest of the world, or another way of looking at it, the US, UK and online audience accounted for just over 1% of the audience, the other 98% plus was the rest of the world...

Clear and incontrovertible proof that Al Gore is a charlatan and a liar.

"More than 2 billion of us joined together on 7.7.07...."

It was appalling enough when the Gorebots threw this figure around before the concerts, since it was obviously not based in reality, but only in the feverish imaginations of Gorebots dreaming of how many viewers could conceivably have access to the program, IF they chose to watch. But to continue using this figure afterwards, when it is obviously bogus and probably off by a factor of 50 or more, is the rankest sort of dishonesty. How can we get the MSM to pay attention and debunk this blatantly fraudulent piece of Gorebot propaganda????

You left out China, which probably is where he’s getting his viewership estimates.

YEP. I've taken the Pledge. From this day forward I will use only recycled pictures to make fun of the idiot Algore.

His viewer estimates were derived *before* the concert, having NO basis in reality, but projecting ratings that would match the World Cup Soccer Championship game. In other words, very far fetched.

But in true form, even though his *actual* ratings were pitiful in every country that measures them, he still touts the projected ratings as actuals.

And I imagine he will continue to push the lie for years.

The whole aim of practical politics is to keep the populace alarmed (and hence clamorous to be led to safety) by menacing it with an endless series of hobgoblins, all of them imaginary.

I believe that it's customary to refer to them by their highest political title, regardless of the fact that they're a couple of f*cking idiots.

More than 2 billion of us joined together on 7.7.07 and with one voice demanded an end to the climate crisis.

There aren't 2 billion people in the world stupid enough to fall for your crap Mr. Gore, however it may come to pass some day that 2 billion people will accept your crap for their own personal directive via political jargon to better themselves personally on the back of those who actually have a life via hard work and personal finances.

You wouldn't understand that concept though.
