I guessed you were but it just irritates me the comments about British teeth from my US FRiends as living in Britain I am well aware of how particular most Brits are about their oral hygiene.

They’re in the process of putting in one of their ‘fast and fresh’ stores just down the street from me. It’ll be within walking distance of three major supermarkets and two convenience stores. It’ll be interesting to see how they do.

I heard they were branching out to the states.

I go for quality myself - so I stay away from places like tesco.

But for most ‘middle income’ families - they’re certainly a fair quality at a reasonable price.

BBC is stating that the police believe it is not terrorism and may well be an attempt at extortion(perhaps by a major gang?—Russian? E European?)

Sky News is saying much the same.

So basically we dont know who is behind it yet...

Many people in the UK fear we will one day wake up and find we are living in Tescoland.

They are becoming THAT dominant..

Thank you for putting it in correct perspective. Considering that, it seems even more odd.

have there been any more details released? I don’t understand why there wouldn’t be some news story explaining everything for the curious

closing that many stores seems odd for an amateur fake bomb threat unless which store it would be in was unspecified.

“The trading giant refused to give details about the security threat, but police urged the shoppers to remain vigilant.”

A Tesco spokeswoman said: “All 14 Tesco stores which were closed for a few hours yesterday following a security alert are now open as normal.”

“remain vigilant” “open as normal”

Classic CYA contradictory prattle.

Until the sheeple get a clear explanation, I wouldn’t be seen within a mile of any Tesco store. There are plenty of options.

I think you might be right. Easy to contaminate the food sold at those sites since most managers are mid-eastern. The food would filter out through the population and wreck a lot of trouble.

The Daily Mail’s Sunday edition is reporting that it is animal rights nutters who have targeted Tesco’s due to Tesco selling live turtles in its Chinese stores....

Two of the seven that are opening in my area (City of San Diego) the end of this year are in extremely affluent neighborhoods, especially the one at Canon and Catalina in Point Loma. It will be at the very top of the Point overlooking the bay and the ocean as you travel to the Cabrillo National Monument (Lighthouse) in a very quiet neighborhood that currently has a very very small and very old (sleeper) Albertsons that has been there since the late 60’s. The houses in this area go for millions!
