I wonder if any of you goobers bothered to click the link and hear the audio. I did
The title of this thread is a complete lie.
What Ron Paul said was that there was a danger of a Gulf of Tonkin style provocation. He did not say there was a danger of a “staged terror attack”.

What the hell do you think a ‘Gulf of Tonkin style provocation’ is?

What Ron Paul said was that there was a danger of a Gulf of Tonkin style provocation. He did not say there was a danger of a staged terror attack. Your beloved Al-Queda member believes that a terror attack will be staged so the Bush administration unimpeded access to attack Iran, nuttie.

Thanks for sticking your head out of your spider hole, so we can see how much sense you have.

Depending on your understanding of the GOT incident, it could mean the same thing precisely...goober.

Of course it is, and of course no one's ACTUALLY bother to listed to what Ron Paul has to say; they'd rather let the SPINMEISTERS tell them what he said and think for them, while they're at it.

Thread (up to 100 or so) appears to be a knee jerk reaction to inaccurate reports. I am undecided about Ron Paul’s qualifications to be President, but the ad hominem issuing forth here makes me wonder if he may be right. It is as if a bunch of little girls jumped in to call names before taking time to examine what he actually said and meant, and to what degree it may have any basis in reality.
Has the Gulf of Tonkin attack been fully understood by history? Having experienced Clinton types in power I have little faith in the Feds, and may reserve the word “nutcase” for those who look to them for every good. I appreciate Mr. Paul’s dedication to practicing our forefather’s desire for limited government and a strict reading of the Constitution.
