Prince William County [Va.] supervisors have taken immigration enforcement into their own hands an encouraging example for other jurisdictions that want to crack down on the influx of illegal aliens into their communities.
"I'm extremely excited about what Prince William County has done, and I certainly hope that kind of fans the fire of other municipalities across the state including Culpeper," said Culpeper Town Council member F. Steve Jenkins.
Culpeper County is one locality that appears to be taking Prince William County's lead on addressing the cost of illegal aliens.

Arizona’s program could be placed into the mix and Americans become safer nearly overnight.
The point is the program is working and the big business men in Arizona want to stop it so they can hire cheep labor.
My point is these people are not thinking of the safety of our families or other Americans. Boycott and Put ‘em out of business....is a good plan. We Americans have no choice, if the threat is real, let’s get together and do something about the threat.
I agree. As this continues, I planto do what I can to prevent them from getting their way.
True that. I sense the tide may be turning. I so hope so.
so do I.
thank you we do need updates.
This would be justice for the rust belt states like Michigan, Ohio and Pennsylvania who have be losing seats to places like California and Arizona which have large illegal populations.
Whether this sensible legislation or others like it would pass is another matter, but it would be a good thing to occupy congress and the illegal enablers to ensure they have to play defense and can never play offense again.
For those who think counting the number of illegals is difficult to properly adjust the last census due to enabling states, localities or other sanctuary cities the answer is simple:
If they don't cooperate, the numbers will be estimated based on the percentage of illegals in each respective district (a)getting federal welfare assistance, (b)occupying jail cells and (c)seeking ER treatment. If the sum total of (a)+(b)+(c) is, say, 15% of the general population in such categories in a given local, then the census numbers are correspondingly reduced for reapportionment purposes.
And any illegal aliens found on the voter registration rolls will result in a further reapportionment penalty of six times that number.
LOL...you must not be familiar with the Mexican talent for looking totally stupid, as if they can’t understand what is expected of them so that lets them off the hook. It’s a handy adaptation that even pre-kindergarteners have perfected...but they can sing rap songs and know exactly what English cartoons and ads are saying.
I only hope that everyone stays in tune. This is going to be a very long war, and we’ll have to fight them every step of the way. We have only won the first battle of the war, and admittedly, it was huge, but there will be counterattacks, so hopefully we are all going to stay with this, and keep enlisting those around us, to help along the way. There aren’t going to be any ceasefires, although at times it won’t seem as if there is any resistance. But keep pushing hard, because it is going to take a lot to get some of them moving. Victory is a long way down the road, but let’s not stop heading in that direction.
Kind of like French-Canadian strippers... so I’ve heard.
We have to keep hammering the pathetic politicians, and punish the ones that represent illegal alien interests over ours, at the ballot boxes. We have to boycott businesses that we know use illegal alien slave labor. We have to make it so uncomfortable for the illegals to stay that they want to go home. And we have to harrass our government to BUILD THE $%#& FENCE & SECURE OUR NATIONAL BORDERS !!!
Let us all, in some small way today or tomorrow, move from this thread and each of us, separately, take some level of ACTION. Be it a phone or e mail to a Councilman or Supervisor, a Congresscritter or the local media. Let us make the embers of Prince William County, Virginia start to glow all around the USA today, and not just here internally on FR!
Let us communicate to the outside world and get our local reps on board!!!!
We need to congratulate, and make good contact with those groups, such as Help Us Save Manassas who was the lobbying citizens group that pushed that legislation through. They can be a huge help to the rest of us that still have that battle ahead of us. We need to all work together in harmony, so that we can be that much more effective.
Good point. We need to learn from their success and repeat the process.
(Meanwhile, over in Wheaton, Maryland yesterday...
GRRRREAT news! Thanks for the ping.
Bttt!
