I had a good friend growing up, and we used to go to all the good concerts together - Kiss, AC/DC, Foreigner, Kansas, Molly Hatchet, Nugent, etc. We would often spend the night at each other's house, and fall asleep with headphones on while listening to Pink Floyd or Aerosmith at top volume.

Ahh, those were the days.

Van Halen 11 times along with a host of other hard rock/heavy metal and pop shows. My friends and I back in the early 80’s all had a defacto competition to see who could put together the loudest car stereo. I know all of these factors have contributed to my hearing loss. Not serious but definitely noticeable, especially in noisy restaurants and bars.
