"If Home Depot is serious about protecting the environment, they must stop advertising on Fox -- a network that consistently spreads misinformation about and denies the existence of global warming," says a petition on www.foxattacks.com.
Since the dawn of the information age, groups have tried to manipulate news organizations by going after their advertisers. The first casualty was in the Marlboro Man and smoking. That battle still rages with hearings on Capitol Hill regarding the use of smoking in movies and the manipulation of the ratings system to appease the anti smoking crowd. Even in the recent attacks on the Fox News Channel, groups have used Rupert Murdochs relationship with cigarette maker Philip Morris (PM) and how that led to Murdochs vast media empire ignoring stories about the negative effects of smoking. It isn't enough, however, to try to control the behavior of the American people by controlling the legal products they have access to in the marketplace. The left wants to control what you think and read by controlling your information sources.

Fox needs to change their name to CNN...Celebrity News Network
If any company drops advertising revenue for Fox News Channel, I will drop any spending I do at that company.
Fox has people from both sides of the aisle presenting view points which I think tends to water down the format. People spin, talk over one another and the end result is dung.
Britt Hume does the best news program out there though....
WOW!
Is "smoking may cause cancer" news? What legitimate news story involves the act of smoking unless its one of government interference in peoples lives?
Yes.
They realize that the negative coverage they begrudging gave to Clinton and the "United We Stand" coverage after 911 hurt the cause of destroying America. The are determined to never let anything that doesn't serve "the truth" slip out ever again....
I am staring at that in awe, that you would post a PM here, and would continue with this attack for no good reason.
MMm, I need to go shopping at Home Depot soon.
That's why Diane Feinstein's jumping around like she sat on a fireantbed.
I was watching a show on the Science Channel about that “massive Fusion Engine”, most interesting. The impact that Solar flares and sunspots has on earth’s technology and it’s climate is extremely profound.
The reality is that Global Warming is no longer a scientific issue but a political one; One that the left has found to rally it’s sagging (and soggy) followers around to it’s cause. To people in the know it’s fairly obvious who’s behind it: The argument that We “selfish, greedy immoral capitalists” who are only out to make money are the culprits!” gives it away. This can only come from the left wing dogmatists spew comments out w/o facts. It has all the hallmarks of a typical Soviet Disinformation campaign: You take a situation, condition or incident surrounded by a kernal of truth, surround it with lies and distortions and outright fabrications and find all the correct media outlets and there you have it! A New Truth ...
What’s really a cause for concern here is that the entire principal of scientific research has been transplanted by a dogmatism which could wind up being causing even more of a catastrophe. Climate cycles, Solar Cycles and other factors influence the environment here on Earth.
Many millions of years ago a large part of North America and other continents were covered by water, and the Poles of our planet were in a totally different location on the globe than they are now. So tell me, who caused that one? The Dinosaurs? Please ...
I agree. I can’t watch H&C because I jsut can’t stand to hear Colmes speak about anything.
Fox News has some conservative commentators, but they are not conservative in general. They are simply not consistently liberal like the other networks, which does not make them conservative.
Are you serious? So you watch CNN or MSNBC for their good conservative commentary . . . hahaha.
FNC has a few liberal commentators but it is the most “fair and balanced” network out there with tons of great conservatives like Brit.
