Many quilters and guilds across the US are participating in this worthy endeavor. If you quilt (or know of some one who does) you might want to contribute to the project for the benefit of our wounded Troops.
Not a very flattering photo, but the quilts are beautiful. We meet every Tuesday at the Baker Community Center in Millington from 10-Noon.
A tangible expression of love and gratitude.
Thank You, every stitch sewn with TLC.
The long arm quilter who is doing the actual quilting for our guild is praying over each and every one as she quilts them for our Troops. I just make tops.
Millington is a Navy base town so a lot of us are wives or girlfriends of Navy service members or retirees. I’ve been quilting about 7 years now and this is giving me aexcuse to try out new patters.
