Sounds like something he’d do. I heard that AF One was conveniently compartmentalized with doors that locked.

I doubt that she had much of an impact on him other than him getting money from her. He’s a shyster.

R.I.P.
My prayers are with the Johnson family.

I believe she was very much a part of her husband’s political career but that doesn’t negate the fact that she performed as a dignified First Lady.
May she rest in peace. Condolences to her family.

I can imagine commentators comparing two Texas presidents under siege in different wars.

So far they have NO explanation! They found they guy who changed it and his excuse was it “was a coincidence”..That`s the last I heard of it. I mean come on, how can that be a coincidence? Who runs this Wikipedia anyway, psychics?

I remember as a kid on our family vacation in the Northern California redwoods, passing by the site of the Lady Bird Johnson Grove on the very day she was there for the park dedication (must have been early 1960's).
Just a few months ago I was in Austin and visited the LBJ library, where they have an interesting section on her life, as well as a replica of her office.

She was a class act, who took her environmentalism seriously and acted for positive and intelligent solutions. Washington, D.C. is more beautiful and cleaner today as are other cities because of her positive influence.
I shall abjure comment on her late and for me unlamented husband.

That picture says it best. What a wonderful “lady” who’s wonderful legacy will live as long as the beauty of the Texas highways and countryside.
