Nasty pic of Wilson's teeth! I guess it was from the Early Floss period...
Dr. Zebra has an amazing collection of presidential medical history. It's truly a great use of the web, and it's a very useful historical reference. I'm glad you ran across it.
For others more plainly, here's the link:

One of the loveliest sites in Washington, DC is the Lady Bird Johnson park along the GW Parkway, right across from the Mall. The Navy and Marine Memorial is there:

I wish more people could separate politics from humanity. Please
Politics is the control of human beings by other human beings. You can overlook that and take a myopic view.

That is a beautiful area and I’m ashamed to admit I’ve never taken the time to visit it on foot.
The Navy Memorial is on the north side of PA Ave. about have way between the White House and the Capitol.

The Navy Memorial that you mentioned, along PA Ave at 7th Street, was built in the 1980s. The other memorial, which I referenced before, is the Navy & Marine Memorial. It lies in Lady Bird Johnson Park, across the River, along the GW Parkway just before the 14th St. Bridge. Here’s a nice description of it, along with some info on another beautiful memorial, for the Titanic:

Another lost Titanic memorial is the Butt-Millet fountain in President’s Park, in the Ellipse, jsut below the White House. It was dedicated to Maj. Butt and his friend, Francis Millet, who went down on the Titanic. Butt was ADC to President Taft, thus the prominent placement of the memorial at the foot of the White House.

Like I said, I need to get out more. ;)
Thanks for the link on the memorials. Always something to learn in DC.

if you hated the Johnsons that much. What in the heck were you doing visiting the Johnson museum ?

Sights worth seeing at the LBJ Museum include:
--Incredible gifts given to all of us after they were stolen from their citizens by foreign dictators :-)
--An excellent exhibit on the JFK assassination
--A fascinating replica of the oval office featuring the three TVs with the three major networks.
--A Vietnam exhibit again showing the dominance of the three television networks with three TVs, again
My wife was too young to fully experience the era. I wanted her to see some of the things that affected my life (and made me the hard core Freeper I am today).
