Chertoff: Respect Muslim-Americans (gag alert)
The Associated Press. ^ | July 11, 2007 | The Associated Press.

Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff has told NAACP members that it is particularly important to respect the civil rights of Muslim Americans at a time when U.S. troops continue to fight terrorism in the Middle East.

Making Muslims "feel fully included in the work and spirit of America is part of making America a better country," Chertoff said Tuesday night in an address to the civil rights group's 98th annual convention.

Society has "fought too long and too hard for the rights of African Americans to turn our backs on the rights of Muslim Americans," he said

Are you suggesting that there is no reason for our leaders to be worried about a vigilanty response, so that wouldn’t be their motivation for saying these things?

Almost forgot to include - That’s called “Pandering.”

Stick around for awhile kid. You will be amazed by what our leaders are worried about. You might even learn what their motivation is.

Once we get our boys and girls back from Iraq.. whenever that may be.. we won't need to worry about this.

American muslims need to worry about that day. In the meantime we need to set up a .mil third party for 2012. I only want Generals running the country until I say otherwise.

A whole lot of those boys and girls want to stay until the job is done.

You misread me.

I want them there as long as they feel they need be.

When they get back, I want them running the country.

I want a military third party. Until we win this latest chapter in Crusade wars, I only trust our forces with our country.

"There is nothing strange about respecting the rights of Americans. Chertoff did not say he has a gut feeling that all Moslem Americans are about to launch a terrorist strike. The fuzzy thinking that all Moslems are traitors is ridiculous."

Don't know much about islam do you? Are all muslim Americans traitors? No. Some of them don't read their koran.

Why don't you grow up Mr. "expert on the Koran". You act like an ignorant fool and you don't know it. If you think every Moslem who reads the Koran is a terrorist or supports terrorism you are an imbecile. It's exasperating reading such stupid crap. Did you happen to notice the Iraqi MOSLEMS in the Iraq army fighting by our side? Are you ignorant of the Kuwaiti MOSLEMS we liberated that serve as our strongest base in the Middle East? You didn't notice the Sunni Arab MOSLEMS that have joined with the US Army to attack Al Queda?

I guess they are all heathens who never read the Koran, huh? Or maybe you think the MILLIONS of US MOSLEMS are dedicated terrorists, yet somehow they don't launch thousands of terrorist attacks here every day.

Don't know much about Islam? Obviously you don't. Why don't you post your credentials as an Islamic scholar.

Bingo. Maddening, but true. And it doesn’t make it any more palatable when you know there are Jihadist mullahs ranting and raving in US mosques. They’re here for one reason only, and it’s not assimilation.

No that’s not pandering, it’s trying to understand your 1st half-assed response.

Your “Grizzled” status doesnt’ relinquish me to “kid” status.

I’m clear as to what our leaders are worried about and it’s not too difficult to determine their motivation.

Not everybody lives in a cave, slurping down MSM mush.

No that’s not pandering, it’s trying to understand your 1st half-assed response.

When I referred to pandering I was referring to your question -
- (so that wouldn’t be their motivation for saying these things?) -

My response meant the politicians (very few of them are real leaders) pander to certain groups. We saw it with the amnesty scam, we see it with the homosexual and black racist groups.

Some pander to get donations. Others pander to avoid being labeled “racist” or “homophobic.”

Many of these pseudo-leaders have their noses up CAIR’s butt. You do know who CAIR is, right?

Is that more clear to your half-assed comprehension, Skippy?

There is now way that the details provided in your post #132 could be discerned from the nonsense in your post #117.

There’s nothing wrong with my comprehension skills or awareness of mid-east politics, including CAIR’s role in attempting to influence public opinion.

Now that you’ve written in complete sentences, I happen to agree with your assessment.

Your attempts to label me as some uninformed whimp only reveal your own insecurities.
