I helped raise 5 week old kittens abandoned in my daughter’s yard..The milk was expensive but it worked..They all survived..I have a a rescue, Silky, right beside me..again from my daughter’s yard..I think they make great pets.

Silky helped me get on with having a pet again after my dear Purty died of cancer(another rescue) I am slow to get a new kitty always..but finally do.

I see we are kindred spirits.

All of my pets were rescued, even when I was a kid.

I wouldn't haven't gotten another kitten for a while, but here they are to save the day.:)

Junior died of the same ailment.I couldn't believe how fast the tumor appeared. One day he had nothing and two days later he had a lump by his ear. When I took him to the vet they thought it was an abscess and I authorized the surgery to drain it.They didn't find that is was a tumor until they already made the incision. The vet called me at home and gave me the bad news.It was already to big to remove and since he was already under I told her to put him to sleep.

It was hard and I bawled like a baby. The sad thing was that we couldn't say our goodbyes.

But enough of this sad story. After all this is the Warm and Fuzzies.

He will always be remembered as a great loving cat.

Both kittens are sleeping on my lap right now.:)
