NOTICE OF COMMITTEE HEARING
The Senate Committee on the Judiciary has scheduled a “Hearing to Examine the Prosecution of Igancio Ramos and Jose Compean” for Tuesday July 17th, 2007 at 10:00am in Room 226 of the Senate Dirksen Office Building.
Senator Feinstein will preside.
There is a nationwide movement of patriotic Americans calling on President Bush for the immediate release and pardon of two Border Patrol agents Ignacio Ramos and Jose Compean. Ramos and Compean were falsely convicted and incarcerated for 11 and 12 years for attempting to apprehend a drug smuggler bringing 700 pounds of marijuana into the US. Instead of being convicted of drug trafficking and assault against a US law enforcement officer, the multiple offense drug dealer (illegal alien) received immunity from Johnny Sutton and is now suing the US for 5 MILLION DOLLARS. John Walsh, a strict law and order person, has come out in support of Ramos and Compean. So do many other Americans. Unfortunately there are also other victims of the Johnny Suttons and Mike Nifongs.
