So, if I want to use it to write a novel, all the words in the English language are on the screen and I just have to drag them where I want them?
No, thanks. I’ll take a keyboard. “Sorry, buddy, there will be NO keyboard interface on our new computer. You are screwed.”
I don’t want to talk to the thing, either. It makes it rough when there are other people around.

Microsoft would be well advised to keep all their customers’ fingers occupied at all times.

Touch screens! Wow, Microsoft, you’re sure ahead of the times....
This is, anyhow, not so much effective for elimination of the keyboard as elimination of the mouse. Trying to type on a two dimensional screen “keyboard” will always be a frustrating, non-ergonomic experience.

The whole interface seems to be more of a novelty than anything else. I have a hard time picturing getting actual work done on one of those things.

Does anyone know if it’s possible to turn off the feature that will automatically RESTART your computer after an update????? I have stuff running on the computer and when I come back, I see that it restarted itself due to the automatic updates. CAn i turn off the feature that tells you: The computer will restart in 5 minutes!!! I know I can turn off the auto update....but I want to know if I can just turn off the part where it reboots by itself.
THanks....
