Then you will vote for someone with no chance at all of winning...

You won’t be the first. A whole bunch of folks once did that with Ross Perot and elected Bill Clinton. How fitting that Hillary be the next beneficiary of conservative voters.

Don’t give me the spiel about “voting for the better of two evils”.

You still get crapped on by evil-lite.

“I am for a Thompson/Hunter ticket,
as it is a winner!!”

That’s what I think, then everybody happy as peach!! That way we get 16 years of normal presidential governance. It’s just too early for Hunter.

Oh please... Simply because someone has dedicated their lives to public service doesn’t mean they aren’t a genuine conservative. Most of America’s founders dedicated most of their adult lives to public service in one way or another. One of my personal heroes, John Quincy Adams, actually returned to the U.S. House of Representatives after having served as president. While in the U.S. House he led the fight against the pro-slavery forces which had imposed the Pinckney Gag Rule. He died while still serving in the House of Representatives but not before he dealt the pro-slavery forces their first real defeat by getting the Pinckney Gag rule repealed.

If you look at Duncan Hunter’s career you will see that he is another patriot who has consistantly fought for America’s military, American job’s, America’s border security, lower taxes, the fair tax, and the life of the Unborn. He is a consistant conservative and a true patriot. So, please refrain from posting ridiculous criticisms of this great man.

Anyone who calls himself “Reagan Man” should know that what I said is exactly true. Have you read some of Reagan’s comments on abortion? Who was it pushing for the Brady Bill?

And unless you live in Massecusetts or California, you should know that a Republcian from either of these states is no more conservative than a blue dog democrat from any other state.

I’m not troll my friend. You’d be shocked to know who I am...

So, political corruption is good if it serves your agenda?

Are you suggesting that Nixon did nothing wrong?

I haven't been sold on any of the candidates so far.

Same here. BUT....I have been utterly turned off by more than a few. That in itself is serving to narrow the field. I also agree that when conservatives run as conservatives....with a truly conservative agenda....they win.

This horse hockey about running to the center is a lot of crap. The bilious bast**** who write that don't anything more about real electoral battle than they do about...fornicating....wait....that sounds familiar....

So you feel Nixon deserved to go down for dirty tricks and an enemies list?

Still the one who stuck it to Nixon was Richard M. Nixon!

You won’t get that line from me...

But stop pretending to think a man who can’t lead a national campaign can lead a nation in trouble. If he can’t win, he can’t lead.

My real point was related to your CFR comment.

Find any person of power on the national front and I’ll show you someone connected to and influenced by CFR.

Show me someone in no way connected to or influenced by CFR and I’ll show you someone with no power and no hope of ever having power.

Plus, I have one very important question for all those fearful of CFR...

CFR is probably the most well organized, well funded and most influential organization of movers and shakers in the free world, certainly in America...

Can you tell me how it benefits conservatives to have no conservative inlfuence inside of CFR?

I don’t think people really realize what the CFR is in the first place, they pick and choose policy papers to try to make it look like the CFR is some big conspiracy that wants to control the world.. in reality, the CFR is simply a think tank or research organization and they have policy papers and research on all sides of most issues.

You lost me with your opening line.

They are NOT public servants anymore. WAKE UP!

Anyone not a millionaire when elected is a millionaire once elected. It is the best get-rich-quick scheme in America today and the gift that keeps on giving long after service has ended.

That’s why no real conservative would ever spend his/her life on the tax-payer teet....

You know who does? People who can’t make as much doing anything else...

WAKE UP and join me in the 21st century. Those public servant days ended when they stopped serving us and got rich serving themselves.

PLEASE....

What you are saying is one of the main reasons I like Thompson. He ran (Senate) on a term limit platform, promising to serve only two terms, and he kept that promise.
