Good morning, Meg (((HUGS)))

Has the water started receding, anywhere?

I have to drive to see..and I only recently discovered this treasure view nearby..(It’s not “on the way” to anywhere I go)..I have to drive and turn off into a neighborhood..I have been doing “discover my area” side trips now and then.. I got lucky this time.

..I am sure it has receded in many areas...Some areas in Texas have gotten more rain..and if the runoff flows into a river that feeds a lake..the lake won’t recede. Lake Waco has 20 feet more to add before it goes over the dam. Every lake is above normal. Releasing water from floodgates would flood areas downstream.(I don’t keep up with the day to day reports)
