It's time again to remind those at-large Congressman, aka US Senators, that we will not tolerate a withdraw and cut and run in Iraq.
I think we need to remind those people once again of who is in charge!!

I agree. We are getting news that terrorists connected to Iraq are carrying out terrorist attacks in England and these idiots want to pull the troops out. By the way, I am just giddy that Cindy Sheehan is confronting Pelosi on the war and impeachment. Love it.
Today, I let my senator know how I feel about Iraq.
Thanks for getting us organized, Perdogg. Let’s get moving and tell them where we stand.
If the people on this board treated this issue like they did the immigration issue then the President shouldn’t have any problem mustering the support he needs to keep Americans safe...
However, its just that I think too many so called conservatives are strangely silent when it comes to supporting the Presidents action in the GWOT and have become single issue supporters...
I’ll do my part writing letters and calling, I hope everyone else does theirs.
Ping
This is just as important as the Border fight was.
To our congressmen, quit encouraging our enemies, back our Troops!
thank you for the set ups...
Another RINO putting his own political ambitions above our troops and the advise from the Generals on the ground.
If the President thought Iraq was so important, he wouldn't have poked his thumb in the eye of conservatives on immigration, just prior to needing their support on Iraq.
Apparently Bush thought it preferable to provide Amnesty than to achieve victory.
How did Domenici vote on immigration ?
Emails are in all the Senators’ inboxes, awaiting their return to their offices tomorrow. Some received thanks and the cut-and-runners were slammed.
This isn’t the first time they’ve heard from me on this issue and it won’t be the last. :-)
Tomorrow, I’ll hit the phone.
When I think they can’t disgust me any more than they already have, they prove me wrong.
I am on it. I have been on it. I have written the PResident and let him know that I support the mission. BTW: comments@whitehouse.gov
I have sent email to Lugar and Domenici. I told them that I was coming and hell was coming with me.
I had a lot of compassion to stop amnesty. Well, I got more compassion when it comes to supporting this mission and our Troops.
I told the traitors that I will be using this compassion to do what I can to get them removed. I grew up in Indiana. If I have to, I will quit a decent job and I will move back there and vote him out of office.
I am tired of the RINO, commie traitors. The surge is about two weeks with its full force and Lugar, Domenici, and other traitors are calling for Troops to pull out.
I call for every traitor out there to pull their head out of their @$$!!! Go ahead leave early and/or tell the enemy when you are leaving. That is a good idea. How about we leave when the Iraqi Government asks us too? Dont like that? Wanna leave now? Go ahead and turn it over to the terrorist.
I want stupid people removed from power. I want politicians standing behind our Generals plans. I dont want Generals standing behind our politicians plans.
Lugar and Domenici need to understand that we must show resolve to our enemy. Terrorist are telling people in Iraq not to work with the Americans or they will kill their family. They are telling the Iraqi people that we wont be there forever. We must show resolve so the people can begin to trust their new government and the US over the terrorist. If you do not show resolve you are part of the problem and you are a National Security risk.
We need to put this situation into perspective:
We have been in Iraq for four years and we lost 3,500 Troops. In four years of WWII, we almost lost 500,000 Troops. During the first twenty one days on Iwo, we averaged a thousand losses a day. We have been in Iraq for four years and lost 3,500 Troops, right? Well, that is the middle of the fourth day on Iwo Jima. 52,000 fell in two years of Korea. Our bloodiest day took place in 4 hours not four years. We saw 22,000 casualties in fours hours at Antietam.
What happened to the words, we shall pay any price, bear any burden, meet any hardship, support any friend, oppose any foe to assure the survival of liberty?
Ill tell you what happened, the Demorats silenced those words and now a mess of RINOs like Lugar and Domenici are silencing those words. Along with our media, the leaders of the Demoratic Party, and the RINOs need to grow a back bone, pickup a weapon, and stand a post. We need to show our Troops and our enemy resolve.
We will leave Iraq when the Iraqi people can protect themselves from an outside threat and maintain some peace from within. Until then, we must help them fix the problems they face. And we must remove commie traitors from the homeland.
All commie traitors need to watch this and TRY, just try to understand it:
I wrote my Congressman and Senator and told him to stop the Amnesty/Immigration Bill. Please, this issue is bigger than Bush or the Republican Party.
It’s also time to keep them on the straight and narrow about securing our borders and sending the illegals back
Really? I think we have, time and again, been very vocal on this issue over the years and did and HAVE treated this as seriously as preventing amnesty. But after years of doing so and winning debates on items like wire tapping or giving terrorists rights only to have the admin cut a deal he said he didn’t have to make, the well runs a bit dry.
In my head I’m constantly thinking, okay, if I come out and slam down the RINO’s again is my reward going to be the President six minutes later announcing a “compromise” with the cut and run crowd in the GOP? Whether you agree with that thought or not, I’m tired of helping him out (on something I agree with btw) only to have the rug pulled a few minutes later. That’s why the reluntance to once again tread into the fray over this.
But I’m going to do so anyway, because I understand how important it is to win and I won’t abandon our soldiers. I’m even going to give support to a man I despise, the ultimate Maverick himself John McCain, just because I am so opposed to cutting and running. Despite the harm he did by petulently undermining Rummy or seeking terrorists rights, he’s probably the only RINO that might be able to bring his fellow RINO’s Lugar and Domienci back (barely) into the fold.
And I’m going to support the President on this, despite my continued anger with him (tagline is a clue just how angry I’ve been with him), because on this he’s right to not back down and I’m just going to pray to God he doesn’t cave here. Because the man I voted for twice wouldn’t cave on this.
As for the Senate RINO’s, I intend to make it quite clear to them there are issues you just don’t screw us over on. Amnesty. Judges. And the war. You’d think the dingbats would have caught a clue by now. The fact they haven’t suggests they should consider retirement and let a good patriotic conservative run in their stead.
And I echo the sentiments everyone get on the phone, we all still have the numbers after the amnesty fight, and drill it into their heads we’ll blame them when the Iraqi’s are getting slaughtered and we’re hit again because they were too cowardly to push back against the media and a war weary public to make the case as to why, on this issue, the right thing to do isn’t the most feel good proposition.
And I urge everyone who is, like me, still angry with many Republicans in D.C., to put that aside on this. If for no one’s sake other then that of our troops.
Time to FREEP the CongressKritters on this issue.
