I can see another shining face on CBS evening news in the near future.

The only time I watched it was when Rush was on during the freedom of speech portion. Even then I TIVOd it and skipped through to Rushs part.
Please, I have a question about TIVO. I currently have cable; do I need to subscribe to some kind of TIVO service ala cable? Or is it just a recorder?

Sorry, I just couldn’t get past the crooked mouth. Can’t help but wonder if she had a stroke or bit an electric cord or had one nip/tuck or something like that.

Yeah, it’s OUR fault that you went from a morning show fluffball to trying to succeed at reading the nightly news!
New York Magazine says she hates the word “sputum”. I say people should start yelling “SPUTUM!” at her instead of hello.

You may want to check with your cable provider. Lots of decoder boxes, like Scientific Atlanta models, come with integrated didgital recorders now. Same functionality as a TiVo but supported more directly by your cable company so may make for less service hassles.

The only amazing thing is that this whole slow motion train wreck was soooo predictable to us know-nothings here at FR and comes as such a complete shock to the media geniuses at 30 Rock. Go figure.

Perhaps America wasn’t ready to accept an anchor with no journalistic credibility and who’se only qualification was that she used to be cute and perky. Face it Katie, your hiring was a stunt by CBS execs in a lame attempt to get ratings based on curiosity.
To: poobear
Also, isn’t a high rating for a show like Today a lot lower than one for the evening news?
It used to be, but I’m not sure about now, since evening news ratings have been falling for 25+ years....
To: CAWats
Yes if you buy a TIVO you have to subscribe to TIVO’s service for it to work.
If your cable provider gave you a box, it may have the same capability as TIVO, just a clumbsier interface.

That’s right, Katie, we weren’t ready for you. And you can tell your bitchy buddy Hillary that we’re not ready for her, either.

People who’ve seen the show say that she is truly horrible.
And I sure can’t dis-”sputum”.

I blame the ignorant little peons, for refusing to be lied to anymore by Her Perkiness or CBS. It is after all common knowledge that Katie and CBS Evening News are big propagandist frauds.

Reminds me of that lame song by Don McClean on Vincent Van Gogh "Starry Starry Night"....
But I could have told you, Katie,
This world was never meant for one As beautiful as you.
Now I think I know what you tried to say to me,
How you suffered for your sanity,
How you tried to set them free.
They would not listen,
they're not listening still.
Perhaps they never will...
This world just wasn't ready for Katies greatness <sniff>
