The only time I watched it was when Rush was on during the freedom of speech portion. Even then I TIVOd it and skipped through to Rushs part.
Please, I have a question about TIVO. I currently have cable; do I need to subscribe to some kind of TIVO service ala cable? Or is it just a recorder?

You may want to check with your cable provider. Lots of decoder boxes, like Scientific Atlanta models, come with integrated didgital recorders now. Same functionality as a TiVo but supported more directly by your cable company so may make for less service hassles.

Yes if you buy a TIVO you have to subscribe to TIVO’s service for it to work.
If your cable provider gave you a box, it may have the same capability as TIVO, just a clumbsier interface.
