A Democratic Party blogger says he wants to shoot Rush Limbaugh and is calling for volunteers to assassinate rock star Ted Nugent, who champions the Second Amendment.
Hart Williams, a former writer for porn magazine Hustler and who now toils for the Democratic Daily, was waxing incoherent about a recent Wall Street Journal op-ed by Nugent, complaining that it was likely ghost-written.
"How we can remain 'civil' in the face of this is beyond my ken," wrote Williams. "I will only reiterate what I've said WHEN they manage to inevitably push their litany of hatespeak into actual bloodletting, and full-blown civil war (for there is no other place that this hatred of American against American can go), well ... I've got dibs on Rush, as soon as it's legal and lawful to shoot him. Whoever wants Ted Nugent is welcome to him, but I would prefer that you would call it now, so as to conserve on ammunition. We will need to manage it prudently. But when the day comes that they have finally set brother against brother, and sister against sister in the name of their pocketbooks, I won't approach exterminating them with anything approaching remorse. They've already told me what they think of me, of my friends and of my peers. Now, I'm returning the favor. Put that in your pipe and have the WSJ editorial staff show you how to smoke it, Nugent. Courage."
The Democratic Daily is the brainchild of Pamela Leavey, whose claim to fame is working as a volunteer writer for JohnKerry.com during the 2004 election cycle. Her site describes her as a writer, entrepreneur and single mother living in Southern California.

BTW, I spent a year in purgatory...aka Vanderbilt. Just by coincidence, it was the same year that Gork flunked out of D-school.
Just by another very odd (historically, at least) coincidence, we freshman were dormed in Kissam Quadrangle...wonderful misnomer, there were 6 buildings in this ''quad''. However, there weren't enough freshman to fill all 6 buildings, so -- guess what? -- the D-school students no, not quite right, odd bozos is rather more precise, were most of them dormed in Reincke Hall, one of the 6 bldngs in Kissam Quad.
The inhabitants thereof were universally known as ''Rinky-Dinks''. Gork was not dormed there...but I **guarantee** you that he visited some number of his fellow D-schoolers in Reincke Hall frequently. For whatever purposes -- certainly it wasn't studying -- this deponent sayeth not.
We all saw him around campus, of course, usually yapping at whatever clutch of D-schoolers he floated around with.
Came the spring (well, February, at any rate), all of a sudden the pompous tall guy with the absolutely hideous voice was nowhere to be seen. It took about 5-6 weeks for the info to filter out that he'd flunked the 1st sem exams.
Apols for the probably boring recollection, but at least I remember from time to time why this clown shouldn't be elected Sheryl Crow's butt-wiper.
Have you ever wondered, as I have, how successful a state, national or world leader would become if suddenly, he/she started showing elementary courage against all this liberal PC nonsense and started articulating good sense in ways reminisent of Maggie Thatcher and Ronnie Reagan, once again???
And I mean without backing down at the very next opportunity in spite of all the advice by political consultants and media advisors, et. al... Would we really rally to someone like that??? (and I DON'T mean like Ron Paul did with that crack-pot stuff in the debate, either!)

Why would Rush turn to government? Independent contractors are FAR more reliable and effective and he can afford THEM!!! (way better than some donut eating deputy just trying to make it to retirement on "civil standby" outside Rush's home)
Gork managed to do so, somehow. Only two possible reasons, I suppose.
1) Don't do the coursework (Gork probability rating: 60%) -- any number of lazy shirkers still passed the 1st sem exams.
2) Room temperature or lower IQ (Gork probability rating: 95%)
Any number of REAL dolts passed the 1st sem in Vandy D. I tutored a couple of them regarding simple math == I mean **simple**, as, what is the probability of a fair die thrown twice showing a '3' neither time, that sort of thing. Don't ask, just don't. ''Hopeless'' doesn't begin to describe them, mostly nice guys, though == and my inescapable conclusion was that, if one just bothered to complete the various assignments, any ambulatory piece of protoplasm who wished to, would certainly graduate from Vandy D.

It is sort of strange that leftists always want to "make a statement" by shooting themselves. I think there is a lesson there.
A: Any four year liberal arts or journalism degree will fill the bill.
