Yeah, I can imagine the old bitty doing her hysteric dance, and then falling down, hurting herself in the door of her own home.

What I can't imagine is, then slapping handcuffs on her and taking her to jail.

So your solution to someone who resists police is to let her go if she gets an owie?

To me, it's telling that she complains she wasn't allowed to have a drink of water, wash her call her son or wash her hands -- she doesn't say anything about medical attention. She's not even attempting to claim her injuries were serious.

Based on the officer being suspended from duty it appears this guy had a real heavy badge, and never quite understood common sense discretion in matters like this.

LOL! The old lady had a bloody face and then made this statement.

"I'm thoroughly exhausted," she said. "I'm very distraught about all this."

You clearly are not familiar how easy the elderly can be injured, and yet not show any outward immediate signs of injury. The city will have plenty of time to speak with her attorneys that.

Whoops

"She was treated in a local hospital for the cut to her nose and for other bruises before being taken to jail".
