I remember seeing the “World Can’t Wait” full page ad in the NY Times. The signers, in addition to the usual collection of leftists such as Jane Fonda, Ward Churchill, Frances Kissling (Catholics for a Free Choice), the National Lawyers Guild, Michael Ratner (Center for Constitutional Rights), Cindy Sheehan, Martin Sheen, Lynne Stewart, Studs Terkel, Gore Vidal, Kurt Vonnegut, Cornel West, Howard Zinn, etc. also include the Islamic Center of North America, the Islamic Association of America, and my own NY State Senator Thomas Duane.

You can see this ad at http://www.worldcantwait.net/flier/nyt.pdf

I remember seeing the “World Can’t Wait” full page ad in the NY Times.

Yes, Bill O'Reilly actually had a segment on the ad, himself referring to the org and movement as "communist", so he knows full well. Prior to this, Sean Hannity had on H&C one of the WCW's national spokespeople, "Sunsara Taylor". She had the incredible nerve to wear, as she sat there at the H&C table, a Revolutionary Communist Party "Youth Brigade" t-shirt! No shit! Hannity, clueless about it all, merely asked "what's that you're wearing" and left it at that. On later Bill O'Reilly programs, Sunsara Taylor returned (as a WCW rep) to discuss other various issues without Bill making a single mention of who SHE was or of the Revolutionary Communist Party being the parent org behind the World Can't Wait--Drive Out the Bush Regime organization/movement, the org Taylor was representing.

Following are some links to the World Can't Wait on FoxSnooze:

"Sunsara Taylor on FOX's 'The O'Reilly Factor' Jan. 4, 2007": http://www.worldcantwait.net/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=3588&Itemid=12

From the left-wing site, News Hounds: We watch FOX so you don't have to.
"Sunsara Taylor was extremly articulate but was wearing a t-shirt with a graphic Communist Childrens Brigade [it was actually the Revolutionary Communist Youth Brigade I saw the program--ETL] This of course was an immediate invitation for Fox viewers to doubt her statements and turn this into a partisan battle, as always."

Yahoo search results for "sunsara taylor" + "t-shirt" + "youth brigade": http://search.yahoo.com/search;_ylt=A0geu5dfqI9GcyQA70tXNyoA?p=%22sunsara+taylor%22%22t-shirt%22%22youth+brigade%22&y=Search&fr=slv8-iy

Countdown to Betrayal … or Mobilize to DRIVE OUT THE BUSH REGIME?
By Sunsara Taylor
(rwor.org or revcom.us takes you to the website of the Revolutionary Communist Party)

Here's the Revolutionary Communist Party (see link below) boasting of the FULL PAGE 'World Can't Wait--Drive Out the Bush Regime' ad of theirs which appeared in the New York Slimes. (either "rwor.org" or "revcom.us" takes you to the website of the Revolutionary Communist Party). The NY Times allowed a 2nd full-page RCP/WCW ad to be run several months later! In fact, they are, or have very recently, ran another large ad.
