See my previous post. By his fall from grace, man is doomed. Unregenerate is his natural state. The sinful man by his nature cannot choose the things of God even though he has choice. His freewill is subject to his sinful nature. Just as a man without wings cannot choose to fly.

I have freewill which has been granted to me by God. It makes no difference to me personally whether God knows what choice I am going to make. It is still mine to decide.
Sometimes there are mysteries that the finite human mind cannot perceive even though our egotistical nature demands an answer. Faith precedes understanding.
