The myth of “freewill” gives us power over God. Power that we simply do not have.
Man is fallen from the day he is born and is spiritually dead in his sins. Dead men cannot “choose” life. God, in his sovereign will, moves in our hearts and gives us the faith to call upon him. Apart from him, we can do nothing on our own.

We are chosen. We do not “choose” on our own. Just as Lazarus couldn’t raise himself from the dead, nor can we who are spiritually dead choose Christ without God acting in our hearts first.
Regarding the “end-times”. Jenkins and LaHaye have made a million dollars on Tribulation fiction. Don’t buy into it. Christ will return at a time of his own choosing, and nothing we can do will delay it or hasten it. There is one spiritual resurrection (at our death), and one physical resurrection (when Christ returns). There is no “tribulation” period.

Predestination that is.
Free will is biblical. When we choose to lay ourselves bare emotionally and spiritually to God’s will, we have chosen to accept God’s love.
God is love. What type of love is the kind that is mandated. What type of worship and adoration is it if man is made to worship and adore.
No my friend, God did not make us into mind numb robots. We have the freedom to declare Jesus as the Lord of our lives and to invite the Holy Spirit.
Also, scriptures tell us that not even the Son knows the hour in which he will return.
