I don’t think it’s dead, it’s just been moved out of the public consciousness for now. Like you said there is so much going on now. Space exploration is for more peaceful, innocent times. The truth is, we need to fix the problems we have here before we even begin to worry about traveling to the stars, or we’ll just export them to space. You want to hear an even bigger irony? Before we move into space, which I believe will become a necessity, we are going to have to come together as a people united. One world, if you will.

The Pilgrims, coming to this country in ships, probably not far removed from going into space today. I’d go in a heartbeat. terraform mars or something. Ever watch man Vs Wild? Bear could live there— he’d probably put on weight. haha
