I’m not sure what you meant by good enough, but thank you.

We disagree theologically.

I’m not one to volley scripture back and forth online in an attempt to convince one that my position is correct.

Funny though, I had a Calvinist co-worker tell me one time that I was a Calvinist and just didn’t know it.

I couldn’t help but chuckle.

Another co-worker of mine feels that if you can’t quote “book, chapter, verse” then thats it. Don’t even speak of the Holy Spirit. That ceased at the end of Acts.

Couldn’t help but chuckle.

Another attempts to convert a Muslim co-worker and the Muslim tries to convert him to Islam.

Couldn’t help but chuckle at them both.

I have a Jewish co-worker, arrogant fella. He seems to carry this “I’m privileged mentality” follows all the laws.
He heard my Christian music playing softly, he tells me he felt a hostile workplace.

Couldn’t help but laugh.

We feel like we have God all figured out! What we know of God is minuscule.

I’m right, your wrong. The bible says this, no no, the bible says that.

One thing I am quite sure of.......Jesus is just shakin his head at what we “man” has made of it all.

Good luck to ya.

Oh by the way:
>>Also, scriptures tell us that not even the Son knows the hour in which he will return.<<

And your point is?

Your previous post you inaccurately posted...”Christ will return at a time of his own choosing,”

Matthew 24:36
“No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, F109 but only the Father.

Blessings

This is true for humans, but we are talking about God the all-powerful creator of everything. I think there is a big difference.

Yes, but the company produces the implantable type as well, and it’s their way of easing us into it. I liek the way they use terms like “Hugs”, “Kisses”, and “Halo”. Almost comical. Oh, and the harmless baby.

You could have just saved yourself the time and said “I’m too lazy to study God’s word.”

We grow by studying.

>>What we know of God is minuscule.<<

Which is why he’s given us his revealed will in the 66 books of Scripture. They’re there for a reason.

“You could have just saved yourself the time and said “I’m too lazy to study God’s word.”

How arrogant of you. I’ve studied scripture...obviously not quite as much as, lets say, a biblical scholar such as yourself.

I just refuse to get into a tit for tat over scripture online.

Besides, it is this very thing that chase people away from Christianity.

Try humility rather than confrontation.

Never claimed to be any sort of scholar, just a Christian who has been shown the truth.

Your ‘chuckle’ comments came across as very dismissive of desiring to learn deeper the truths of God’s word.

>>I just refuse to get into a tit for tat over scripture online.<<

You’ve also clearly refused to study that which confronts your surface-level understandings of the origins of grace, who receives it, why, and who gets the credit.

>>Besides, it is this very thing that chase people away from Christianity.<<

No, sin chases people away from Christianity. Word-based debate and exhortation builds us up. Just as the Bereans searched the scriptures to see if Paul’s words had any authenticity in the light of Scripture, we must do the same. Test everything against Scripture to see if there’s any merit to it. In this case, the idea that man in his sinful state can ‘choose’ to accept Christ does not stand up against the light of Scripture. You’re refusing to take a closer look, and that is nothing more than ignorance.

I would not have ever studied these truths had God not crossed my path with a fellow believer who confronted my arminianism with the doctrines of grace. Confrontation challenges our long-held and incorrect beliefs. That’s how we grow. We don’t grow by sitting by and chuckling.

I do not chuckle at the truths in the bible.

You do not know me, nor do you know the level of my study of Holy Scripture......very presumptuous on your part.

The arrogance I speak of comes from “mans” unending ability to speak for God.

I do not subscribe to the Calvinist doctrine, predestination, total depravity, unconditional election, perseverance of the saints, God’s grace or atonement as defined by Calvinist dogma.

I have had debate with Calvinist before. Much of what you believe is the same as other Christ honoring Church's, but portions of this TULIP doctrine I believe is flawed and I think that that point can be supported scripturally.

That’s really not the point however. My original point is how denominationalism, religous-ology is not so unlike the pharisees of old. These guys thought they had it all figured out.........and they KNEW SCRIPTURE, BY HEART!!

On that last day, there will be many non calvanist standing in heaven right beside you.

Blessings.
